We often hear people make claims of their infidelity to God citing Adam, true, as funny as it sounds. However catch the flip of it; Jesus Christ set a high example of obedience and that is what we ought to follow.
How come some mostly ‘devalue’ the old testament (claiming it is an old covenant) butuse examples from there to justify their mediocre lives as Christians? Why do we use the new testament to claim liberty? Why claim freedom in Christ and yet blame the “adamic nature” wfen we fail? Shouldn’t the failure of Adam be an example for us to do better as God’s beloved?
Adam caused many to be sinners because he disobeyed God, and Christ caused many to be made acceptable to God because He obeyed. Romans 5:19
Let’s be sober and look at Christ. His impeccable example gives us a pass into heaven and so can our obedience lead to the saving of our families, the unborn generation and even the unbeliever at work. He left us His grace and The Holy Spirit to help us walk in obedience like He did, thus, we no longer have any excuse.
