A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted (Ecclesiastes 3:2b)

I feel that while making a plan or resolution for a set length of time, it is best to break it down into steps to make it more manageable. Many individuals, if not all, will agree with this statement..

Today’s topic is “a time to plant and pluck”. We frequently focus on harvest time while ignoring the practices necessary to secure a plentiful harvest.

With this in mind, know that there is a time to PLANT. This does not just end at putting the plan in motion but consists of you watering, pruning, weeding, etc., to ensure the environment you are building around this plan of yours is conducive enough to help it grow to fruition. Do not just plant and sit waiting for harvest time. You would be surprised at how bad you will fail.

For example, in our previous text, we spoke of childbirth. After conception (planting), soon-to-be parents spend time going for antenatal appointments, taking birthing classes, taking in the needed vitamins and supplements for the baby to develop properly, etc. Most even begin buying clothes and preparing a bed and room for the baby that is yet to come. These are all part of the process that couples go through even before the delivery of the baby (harvest time).

Go through the processes needed to ensure you get to harvest time. It may not be easy, but it is worth it.

God bless you.
